My dad is a deported immigrant and did not attend college, and while my mom pursued higher education after having my brothers and me, she has yet to find job opportunities that match her qualifications, leading us to live a life where we lack stability. Despite these challenges, I am determined to break the cycle of adversity and create a better future for myself through my pursuit of higher education.

My plan to end the cycle of adversity begins with my commitment to obtaining a college education. I recognize that education is the key to unlocking opportunities and breaking down barriers.
